Exit and emergency lighting come in many shapes and sizes, but they don’t look after themselves. If they are on your commercial site and mentioned in your occupancy certificate, you need to get them tested every six months.
Did you know most individual units have their own battery which is always charging. These batteries do not last for ever and can fail. This means, in an emergency, if the power goes off, your lighting will not work.
If we find any emergency lighting that will not perform in an emergency, you will be notified straight away. Remember, while we can fix smaller issues such as fluorescent tubes, many electrical problems must be rectified by a licensed electrician.
